The Shelby supercar is the fastest known car in the world. The Shelby supercar is an American automobile manufactured near Washington and was founded in 1999 by the owner Jerold Shelby. They build the SSC Aero which has 1400hp which makes it the fastest production car in the world beating the Bugatti Veyron with 1001hp. The Car is also standing in the Guinness book of world records at 439kmh.
